    VWS Status Variable Change Problem

    Hello,
    I am running HS2 with VWS --- Plug-In Version: 2.2.0.27.
The variable "VWS Data Status" changes between 1 = Data OK and 2 = Data older than 15 minutes.
I set up an event to let me know when the data stream is not updating, but every minute I receive the message. There doesn't seem to be a way to set the trigger so when the "value changes to", only when a value "is".
I want to trigger when the value changes to 2, then the message will be sent once, or when it changes to 1 then a message will be sent once.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks,

    If I understand you correctly...

The message "data is older than 15 minutes", is coming from the plug-in, and can only be corrected by ensuring that the data is generated and available to the plug-in before the 15 minute interval timer goes off again. The interval for the export of the CSV files is a configuration in VWS...does that help???

      VWS Status Variable Change Problem

      Hi,
I understand how the data monitoring works. In HomeSeer the variable for the "VWS Data Status" changes between 1 (for flow is current) and 2 (data older than 15 min.).
In HomeSeer the "trigger" choices are: See attachment.
When the data flow is "good" the
"VWS Data Status" 1 is sent every update, Approx. 1 minute. What I need is a function that says if the "VWS Data Status" changes to 1 then trigger, that way the "notice" would be sent once.
As you can see there is a function: Changed to On.
There is no way that I know of to equate the 1=ON and 2=OFF.

I will look into adding some trigger stuff to the plug-in. It may take me awhile to familarize myself with the trigger mechanism code.
