How to visualize Sonos playlist in HSTouch

I am using this Sonos plug-in with HSTouch designer
InHSTouch designer there are presets for viewing music devices. A first comes with HSTouch another can be copied from the Sonos plug-in directory into the HSTouch directory. Both of these allow monitoring of the music choices available on the Sonos i.e. Library, Internet Radio etc. As well as many controls
In both of these presets under Element properties/status/device associations/status tracking. It is possible to select "music selector" to display music which you can add to your playlist.

My question is, is there a setting which allows you to display the queue i.e. the playlist itself.. I that it is visible in the browser page created by SonosControllerMusicPage.aspx which also comes with the Sonos plug-in. How do you visualize the Sonos playlist in HomeSeer designer short of loading that page.
    Great plug-in.
Thank you in advance for any tips

    Hi Kevin,

for as far as I know, HST does not support any functions to display the content of a playlist. It has however some built in functions in the "music selector" to navigate from artist, to album, track, genre, playlist and playlist content but it is all fixed and was created in support of the iTunes and WMP plug-in. the Sonos plugin API supports calls to get track info for a given play-list but I can't figure out myself how to easily feed a list of objects into a HST listbox. I was trying all of last weekend but as far as I can tell, you can only point a list box to a (virtual) device or load the list box, item by item.

So in summary, unless you use the music selector option and use the built in options, I see no way to create for example a button that you would click that would say display playlist and subsequent click would display content of that playlist. Maybe other users out there know more or have had better luck figuring it out.

      Thank you!

Thank you so much for this thoughtful reply. I guess what I will do is link to the webpage that the plug-in creates which does in fact allow you to work with the queue. It is a great plug-in.

      Much appreciated.

        Hi Kevin,

if you go to the HS root directory, subdirectory \html\Sonoscontroller, you can find the logic that goes into the music web page. The file name is SonosControllerMusicPage.aspx. You can actually change or add functions if yo like. If we could only figure out how to link a HST listbox with this logic, then we could do exactly the same. Maybe some other (smarter :-)) HST users out there that could comment.

I'm definitely not smarter, but I'm also very interested in this solution as well...
