    Current Cost Temperature fault

    Hello,

I installed the "current cost" with Homeseer Pro. I can not display the temperature, it is always zero. Can someone tell me why and how to change that.
    Thank you, Joe.

So the Current Cost Main Sensor isn't showing on the status page?

      Hi Rupp,

the line shows in the status page from Homeseer. But the temperature stays at "0". The plugin version is 1.0.0.57.

I've not seen this issue. Does the receiver show a temp?

I'd just check it was outputting from the device correctly by running the C2 Terminal software - designed as more of a debug tool and is available here http://www.currentcost.com/software-downloads.html ...just take a look at the XML string output and check inside the < tmpr > and < /tmpr > tags that there is a value that looks like the temperature.

If so then you can say definately that it is a problem with the plugin.

Well the temperature is reporting correctly in that string so the problem must be with the plugin, your Envi looks to be about eight months old - is this a new problem and did it work before or is now the first time you are using it with HS?

If you backup and then delete the envi database and restart HS does it work? Is anyone else seeing this issue?

                          Hello mrhappy,
I bought it used and it is the first time I installed my home. Before the person was using the internet module. It was purchased in April 2011.

                          Hi Rupp,

I did a re-initialization of Current Cost, I did like this:

                          "<" + ">" And power on

I think rupp is going down the lines of deleting the history.db3 file rather than deleting the data out of the Envi itself, I'd open the database in an SQLite browser first and see if the temperature is logging correctly - http://sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net/ - i'm not sure which database table it will be in but it should be visible somewhere.

Yes, I mean the current cost database. Back it up first and you can always restore it so you do not loose data.
