No idea. I was involved in it too, and it seems to have disappeared.

Guys I must have accidentally delete the entire thread. Hopefully the final script can get reposted otherwise the original is still here:

Rupp should I start a new thread? I did update the original script so it now controls the 3M50 wifi thermostat. I wanted to share it with everyone. also were would be the best place for me to post it?

I would recommend posting the finished script in the scripts library and link to this post (as long as I don't delete it again )

I'd suggest starting a new thread. I'm in the process of writing a plugin for the 3M50, as well as the other WiFi enabled RadioThermostat models. I'm hoping to have something ready to test in the next week to two weeks. I'm going to start a new thread for discussion of the plugin, since I don't want to hijack the discussion you previously had going about scripting the thermostat.

Ok, hopefully the script will get reposted for those wanting that.

                    Using the RM-50 script

Sorry for posting this here - the original post is not accepting additional posts.

Is it absolutely necessary to create the new variable type and to run the .thm script? I've modified the script to run when I call it, and by setting the IP address to correspond to the RM-50 thermostat, I am able to poll the thermostat and set its setpoint while simply referring to a virtual device of any type.

Just want to make sure I'm not screwing up the system in some unknown fashion...

When you get ready I would be willing to test your plugin. I just bought a 3M-50 and am installing it now.

                        Poll rate?

I installed and configured the 2M50 poll script but it appears that it is not polling. I can set the setpoint, turn on the fan, etc and when I do the temp updates but it does not automatically poll per the poll interval am I doing something wrong?

                          hs3

Any change this script will get update to hs3 ?
Im new to Homeseer, I have hs3 installed and controlling lots of things. I bought the 3m50 last year, and don't want to have to get another type.
I tried to run the script by changing the directory names, but still get errors.
                          thanks
