As seems to be common, I lose connection with one or another (I have five) of my CT-50 thermostats once or twice each month. When I do, I go to the plugin configuration and search for new thermostats, and invariably the plugin will reconnect and find the missing thermostat. However, when it does it assigns new device codes to the "new" thermostat, which requires me to (a) delete the old device, and (b) rewrite my scripts.
Is there a way to manage the assignment of HS device codes when the thermostat is set up, or, failing that, a way to change the device code once they have been established? It would eliminate a major pain in the neck.
