    CT30 when furnace kicks on

Where in BLstat or the default plugin with HS can you tell if the furnace is running. I have a fan that I can control with a switch to turn on when the furnace kicks in to blow more air to the upstairs. Any help would be helpful

You will have to poll the thermostat for that information. Once you setup periodic polling, you have use one of the special Z-wave thermostat triggers to act when the furnace is on and when the furnace is off.

I am trying to do that, but my thermostat doesn't update any info, it only shows when the set point changes. I have the thermostat running on the c wire

What version of HomeSeer, and how are you polling it?

Entering a poll value on the device setup does not work on all versions of HomeSeer. AFAIK, creating a recurring poll event does work on all.

Of course, the CT30 doesn't seem to work very well and that may be your problem. I quickly gave up on mine and switched to Honeywell.
