    Honeywell zw thermostat

For some Odd reason the thermostat resets it self and screws the date up I think it's causing the furnace to kick on needlessly as well

Is it battery operated or it has the C wire?

Sounds to me like the stat could be bad. It shouldn't simply reset itself.

I've got a suspicion that when it reaches it target temp, it's resetting the screen. It doesn't wipe the info that has been saved but it does boot up again

That theory was wrong, but it did save the set to temp

Went to confirm the wiring down at the furnace. Want to mention I don't have ac, only gas

I have Y,C.W,R and an unlabeled screw that connects to the shut off it looks like

              The y isn't being used
The w goes to w on the thermostat
The r goes to the rh and rc
I have a green wire in the bundle which isn't being used and connected that to the c on both the block and terminal.

              Solved,

Even though it says C, it's not pulling 24v
