INSTALLATION / CONFIGURATION
System Requirements:
- HS3 or HS3PRO
- A Wii Remote (forever known as the Wiimote)
- If your computer does not have one already, you will need a bluetooth adapter. You can find some cheap ones on ebay for less than $5.
Plugin Installation:
Download and install from the updater (User Interfaces section) or download package from the Beta Testing thread and follow instructions to install.
Pairing the Wiimote to your computer:
It's possible to pair the wiimote to your computer using Windows utility or another bluetooth software, but if you do that it won't be permanent, you will have to pair again every time you reboot your computer or every time you turn off the wiimote.
Instead it is advised to use WiiPair.exe which is installed with the plugin in bin\Wiimote.
- start WiiPair.exe
- press the red sync button inside the battery-department of the Wiimote
- wait until WiiPair.exe finds your wiimote and until Windows finishes installing all necessary drivers (it can take a few minutes)
If everything went well you should see the Wiimote in your bluetooth devices like in the screenshot below:
Plugin Configuration
- Press the A button on your Wiimote. The four LEDs should start flashing
- Start the plugin from the "PLUG-INS > Manage" page wait a few seconds for the plugin to initialize.
If everything is ok, the plugin should connect to your Wiimote, and when it does it will turn on the first LED, and rumble for 1 second.
