    Creating scene event causes exception

    Hello,

    If I try to add an scene event, when I select the Z-Wave Scene Activated from the drop down I get the following error.

    Exception creating Z-Wave Trigger UI...
    Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.

    Homeseer: 3.0.0.97
    Z-Wave plugin: 3.0.0.187

      You may want to try HS3 .149. I just tried it and it works for me. Do you have any scenes defined?

      Cheers

          I have the same problem running zwave 3.0.1.25 and HS3 3.0.0.194
          I use Fibaro devices and i enable "scenes "on the dimmer device (changed setting 41 to 1)
          And also group 3 is associated with Homeseer.

          Is this enough actions done as a result on the question "did you enable scenes"?

            I just did a re-install of Homeseer and I am having the same problem at original poster.

            HomeSeer Version: HS3 Pro Edition 3.0.0.298 (Windows)
            Z-wave 3.0.1.87

            I had it working on my previous install. Only difference is that I am using a Aeon Labs GEN5 z-stick now, and I was using a GEN2 before.

            Any suggestions?

              I'm having this same issue. I'm brand new to Homeseer. Just purchased some Homeseer dimmers (specifically for the scene feature) and a Hometroller.

              * HS3 ZEE S2 Edition 3.0.0.297
              * Z-Wave 3.0.1.87

              Is anyone aware of a solution to this?

                For anyone who who has this problem in the future...

                This bug only shows up if you haven't created any Z-Wave scenes. Once you create at least one (done through settings of the Z-Wave plugin), you will be able to create an event as expected.
