How about the ESP8266 any plans of supporting this? It would really take the plugin to the next level

Good day, is this still the only option for making the arduino/plugin wifi capable? also, I'm looking into using the plugin for a stepper motor, is that feasible? thanks

There are now other options but the functionality is somewhat limited. That will hopefully only be a short term problem that will get resolved.

Search this forum for nodeMCU and you will find threads about wifi.
