GE 45631 Z-Wave Wireless Keypad Controller

I purchased several of these and I am not able to do anything (yet) with them
The instructions are lacking more information on how to make them work (or I am not understanding everything)

Can someone please help me figure out how to add the scenes to them?
Or how to program them so they control things in the house?
