    Homeseer WS100 Switch Orientation

First switch install, and I didn't test out switch orientation. I installed the wires and in the same orientation as the old switch Hot and Neutral on top. Well now you have to hit ge bottom pad to turn on. Why are they backwards, and is it possible to basically configure the orientation in the software? The little led is on top by the way. If I take it all out and spin the orientation, the hot and neutral will be on the bottom, and traveler in the top.

You've got it installed upside down...

undue the faceplate screws and flip 180 degrees... You don't need to change any wiring.

I know it's upside down, but the diagram in the documentation clearly shows the Common and Hot on top, and every switch I've ever seen had the Hot and Common on top. Did the factory make it wrong?

I believe there's a setting in the parameters so you can reverse this (although the LED would still be on top of course).

Yes, you are correct. 'Top paddle turns on load' or 'Bottom paddle turns on load' in the settings...

The location of the hot and neutral terminals should not be used as an indication of the switches proper mounting orientation. Different manufacturers do it different ways. You should follow the directions or markings on the device to indicate proper orientation.
