SMS Alerts

Is it possible to send SMS alerts (I assume under a paid service) instead of email alerts with the Home Troller?

You have a couple different options. I personally use these two, the pushover plugin which sends push messages to your phone. Works really well. For the wife's phone I send SMS using the send email in an event. Most carriers allow you to send a text by email. We are with Verizon, so if I send something to phonenumber@vtext.com, she gets it as a text message.

That sounds pretty cool. Im based in the UK (On o2 Network) so will see if there is an option to send text via email

It depends on the model if its Linux or Windows. I don't utilize a home troller though.

Its the home troller Zee which I believe runs on Linux (the Raspberry Pi verison)
