Echo Dot Integration Not Functioning on Option #1

    Hey all,

I've been using Echo Dot (1st and 2nd Gens) for 6-8 months now with not a blip as far as HomeSeer communication goes. I wake up this morning and I can no longer control my Echo Dot (2nd Gen) using "Alexa - Turn on Kitchen lights". I can control my Echo Dot using "Alexa - Tell HomeSeer to Turn on Kitchen Lights". I rebooted all routers and such to eliminate wifi and connectivity. The Echo Dot can still play Pandora and all of that so she's definitely connected.

I checked that HS3Pro was up to date and I was on .297 with automatic update telling me I was up to date. After some digging I found that .298 was available so I manually downloaded .298 and installed it but it's still not working. I disabled both of the HomeSeer skills in my Alexa app and then re-enabled them and logged in with my HS credentials. I forgot all of my devices but through this whole process, every time I have my Echo Dot scan for devices, she can't find any. Does anyone have any thoughts as to the source of this problem? Anyone having similar issues? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Yes, There's another thread describing the same issue. It doesn't appear to be on the HS side as the HomeSeer skill is still working just not the Smart Home skill. I also just checked and myhs.homeseer.com is responding OK.

Odd. Both seem to be working for me currently.

Strange. I just got home and both skills are working fine for me. I wonder if it depends upon what Alexa server your Echo is connected to?

I also came home to find the same today. The "Alexa, tell Homeseer to...." function is still working though. Hope a fix is found soon, my wife hated home automation until Alexa entered our home.

Hasn't been working for me all day. Was working yesterday.

"Sorry, the device is not responding"
The app shows all devices "Offline".

I checked and MyHomseer is online. I was able to turn it off and back on in HS3.

Thanks for all of the replies guys! I'm bummed it's still not working (I've been periodically testing through the day) but I'm glad that I'm not alone since I was beginning to wonder if it was on my end. If anyone is able to reconnect after not being able to use it for a while, please let us know. Thanks again!

I disabled then added the Homeseer Skill back to Alexa with MyHomeseer account.
                    Deleted all devices and rescanned.

                    Working again

I have been having intermittent issues with Alexa for the last few weeks.
It started with Alexa saying OK to my request that normally work...and then sometimes taking upwards of 5 minutes to turn on some lights. Alexa also randomly says sorry the device isn't responding or sorry that device could not be found; but when I go into the HS3 GUI all is working fine and quick.
