X10 Device Status in iphone app

Hi all,

Has anyone had issues with X10 devices not working controlling via the phone app and also showing the wrong status.

If you turn device off in the app, the status then changed back to on after a couple of seconds.

I assume it is something to do with the X10 on and off values being 2 and 3 and not 0 and 100.

Is there a work around on this?

I've never seen that happen.

All my X10 devices are 0 = Off and either 100 = On or they have a dim value. Are you running HS3? Which plug-in?

Hi, I am running HS3 latest release and the CM15A Plugin which seems to work different to the other X10 plugin for the CM11A/TI103 controllers.

The On value needs to be 2 and the Off value needs to be 3 otherwise it does not work.

When I create a device multiple values are created for dim, auto etc (See Screenshot) I have tried setting value to 0 and 100 and Staus-Control to both without no success.

You might try asking your question on the X10 forum. Maybe Mark will have some insight. I can't think of a reason why it would matter what device value is assigned to On and Off, though.
