Sounds interesting, but what are the odds that the remotes and switches will both work with HS as the primary controller?

Definitely interested in trying these, especially since Aeon Labs has still not delivered on the vaporware battery switches they have been promising for a couple of years now.

Aeon has the worst martketing/sales team. So many products from them have been "coming soon" forever.

I wouldn't hold my breath for anything from GE/Jasco. It appears their business model has changed over the years. Now they do not seem interested in directly bringing products to market, but rather creating them and offering them to other to actually put them on the shelves. Has anyone actually seen any of the Z Wave Plus products that they've had certified available for purchase? I've been eagerly awaiting the new toggles, but have yet to find for sale anywhere. Factor in the firmware disaster on the last rev. of the Z Wave non-Plus dimming products (remote control on ignores dim rate parameters) and GE/Jasco is no better than Aeon Labs.

I have 3 of the original GE/Jasco z-wave remotes. I use them a lot. They work great, but they were very difficult to setup. Presumably the new ones will be easier to setup.

                New Z-wave Remotes!

So, the new Jasco remote is quite interesting. As I understand it, you can install a z-wave bulb in a ceiling light fixture, then attach the remote switchplate holder to the original light switch box. This will give you both local and HS3 control of the light. This eliminates the problem of keeping the light fixture always on via the wall switch plus it allows local control. It is a simple wiring change (remove the old switch and wire nut the wires together). In my experience, actual z-wave light switches do not fit inside most older single switch boxes.

Philips Hue has some great stuff with the JowieHue Plug-in that does similar.
I love this switch as centre comes out and acts as a desk remote as well.

Interesting. I have seen the Insteon remotes as well, but didn't want to add a protocol/plugin just to support some remotes. . .

I like the looks of these. I have a few Minimotes velcro's to the wall, but these would look a lot sleeker.

For me, it was for the bulbs. Love the day bright setting in morning and relaxed yellow light glow at night from the Hue. The light strips also integrated well without any software scripts etc.

So, anyone know if this would be supported by the HS Zigbee plugin (via Lightify gateway)?
