    HAI OmniPro II Configuration Change

If I make a change in my HAI configuration how do I get the changes to Homeseer?

Welcome to the Homeseer forum Wallis.

Is disabling and re-enabling the HAI Plugin the way to update the HAI information in Homeseer

    Yes.

If you rename a bunch of stuff while adding it I do not know if the plugin will update the variable it originally created or add a new one.

That said here way back in the beginning testing of the plugin I would delete all variables and events based on those variables created after disabling the plugin.

Best way to check is to test it.

1 - add zones or rename them
2 - rename the zones that have been created by the plugin and see what happens when you disable and re enable the plugin.

The old HS2 plugin would download the variables from the OP2 panel. Afterwards you could change the names of the variables in HS2. Disabling and re-enabling the plugin would not change the names of the changed variables in HS2.
