Added device, can't find in Dev mgr

I am using a new insteon hub. Setup went well and I successfully added a device as instructed via plug-in. Device is listed under current registered devices. How do I get it into the HS "View Device Manager" page? I cannot find any reference to the device except in the plug-in manage device tab.

    Thanks!

its just being filtered out by one of the filters at the top of the dev mgmt page.

Try the Check All option on each of the filters

Hi Mark, I tried that. And just tried again. Restarted, turned plug- in off and back on, just about everything I can think of, but still can't locate it. Should I delete and retry?

      Thanks!

check the hs log to see if the device was created. there should be log entries. if not. then delete and retry

Whenever you add a new device type HS3 leaves them out of the "Device Type" list. Try clicking on "Device Type", then click on "Check all". That will probably bring them into view.

Thanks!! Got the device in the device manager window. Now it does net seem to be turning the device on/off.
Everything looks to initialize fine based on the log file. And when I turn on/off the logs shows the command successfully triggered. But the device does not change. And the indicator for that device does not change.
I have rebooted, reinitialized the plugin, reprogrammed / reset the interface in the plug in but does not appear to work. The hub does beep at various points as I'm reprogramming etc, so it seems that the hub and HS are talking.

            Thanks!

run the "test comm" feature on the given device and check the results.

if the device isn't responding, then something is blocking the signal

Also, I have tested the communication and got a "4" under the 1 hop column and "excellent" for message quality so it seems that the hub and the device must be talking as well.

Have added another device and all seems the same as the first. Everything looks right but devices do not turn on/off and the icons do not change even the the log shows that it worked..

And, the light works via the insteon app on iPad. So looks like all parts are working. Just the HS command does not seem to be working?

                              that looks correct.
please enable detailed logging on the config page, then turn the device on / off from the dev mgmt. page and copy and paste the hs log of the transaction here.
