    Couple of questions

I currently run an ISY with the beta plugin. I'm considering moving over to this plugin so I can have direct control and to see if this is easier to maintain than using HS and the ISY.

    1) I have a couple of hubs I got from Walmart when I found some great deals on some of their starter packs (like basically $40 for each pack!). Can I use the Hub? I believe they are version 1 (says Rev 1 on the bottom).

2). I ultimately don't want to depend on the hub. I'm using the Hub just so I don't have to buy another serial PLM. How hard, if possible at all, is it to transfer the devices from the Hub to the PLM? My hope is to try my office with the hub, but then if that works, ditch the ISY and move the PLM and all the devices to this plugin. Moving the office devices from the hub to the PLM would just be easier.

    3) To build on #2. Is there a way to pull in all the devices from the PLM that I had set up in the ISY or is it just better to start from scratch. I'm thinking the latter, but thought I would ask.

    Thanks!

    1. Hubs v1 are supported except for anything that is labeled a Hub Pro.

    2. once you register all your devices in the plugin via the hub, you can migrate to the PLM via the plugin function.

    3. short answer is no. the best approach is to start from scratch. reset the plm and then register your devices. you don't need to reset the devices, the plugin will read all the links.

      Thanks, Mark!

I was thinking of resetting the devices in step 3 because of the ISY links. I figured it would be easier to factor reset than to try and figure out which ones were for the ISY.
