    zwave plugin versions

I have a z-net and HS3 on a PC that was on .116 (I think). I'm usually on a beta so when .124 showed available I installed it but then the zwave plugin disappeared from the list of plugins. Even restarting the PC wouldn't bring it back.

So I installed .87 which is the official release. How do I find the .116 release. Is it stored on my PC? If so, which folder?

Lastly, any suggestions as to why the zwave plugin would disappear as if it didn't exist with .124?

Have you tried loading it again as there was a problem earlier.

I'm not a glutton for punishment, so no.

I guess I should since it appears I'm the only one with total zwave failure.

      I'll report back.

Linux downloads it under /usr/local/HomeSeer/Updates3/Zips and I always SCP into my SEL to grab it - since the automatic install has never worked for me. Not sure if this will help with a PC, though. On Linux - the zip file disappears as soon as you try to install it, so it's important to grab it quickly.

On Linux, it's literally unzipping the file and copying two files to /usr/local/HomeSeer, and three more to /usr/local/HomeSeer/bin/Z-Wave, followed by a restart of the plug-in.

Hope something in this helps you.

Just remembered - you can also download it with this link (for Windows):

          http://homeseer.com/updates3/HSPI_ZWave_3.0.1.24.zip

Substitute the current version number when there is a new one.

I took a quick look at the files, and it looks like they are the same concept - you copy the HSPI_ZWave.exe and config to the Homeseer directory, and the four DLLs to the Homeseer\Bin directory in Windows. Doesn't look like there is any DLL registration necessary; just straight copy.

Whew! I got the same error but this time I disabled the plugin and re-enabled before restarting HS3. At least now I only have one weatherXML error for a tide table that's already been declared.

            Thank you to all.
