Some devices don't always update status to HS3

I have about 40 devices now across the whole house in every room.

some of the devices randomly fail to update status to HS3.

Such as lights turned on and off, but HS3 status remains ON while the light is actually OFF.

or lights turned on but HS3 doesn't register the ON status and remains OFF in HS3.

I have multiple dual band within 5 ft of each other and I'm pretty sure they have both phases covered.

I've been getting this behavior ever since I replaced the PLM with the Hub.

do you think the plugin is missing the messages from the hub, or are the messages not making it from the device to the hub?

you may need to enable detailed logging to decide

I think it's the messages not making it from device to the hub.

Whats the possibility that the Hub is too busy with something else and missed the messages?

I enabled detailed logging, there's a lot going on even without touching any devices

it keeps getting stuff like this over and over again....

the plugin has to poll the hub to get received msgs. so there is a lot of debugging associated with this process. You are looking for msgs like the following:

        Jul-31 11:15:50 AM Insteon Received STX 0x50 (Raw Insteon Rec):34 62 0A 45 4E D7 2F 16 00
if you control the device manually/physically, and you don't see msgs like the above, then something is blocking the msgs. Search the forum for comm issues to find hints on how to diagnose this.

I just now had another device that I manually turned on and off, but HS3 did not register the OFF command.

I've been checking the logs that happened within the past few hours, it seems only this one device is keeping the hub / plugin busy all the time

This message keeps repeating non stop from the same device, this happens about every 15 seconds.

About comm issues.... I've tried everything and i still can't figure out what's going on. I replaced the PLM USB with Hub, same outlet, same location. no changes in electronic devices at home, everything 100% same.

Here's another post about comm issue I had https://forums.homeseer.com/showthread.php?t=189385
