Not finding my WeatherUndergroud Weather station...

I just set up my own weather station and set it up on Weather Underground. It's GPS coordinates and the settings in WeatherXML are identical yet my weather station does not show up in the list. What do I need to do?

    My station is: KCAHAYWA120

It would be really cool if there was a way to manually add a WU station rather than relying on the list to have it.

    Thank you!

I am also noticing that the items in the list show distances that simply are not correct. I have a feeling that this might have something to do with the issue.

It will take a few days before your station will show up as available. Even if you were able to add the stationID manually, it would not be able to download data from it until it is available in the list.

What Lat and Lon do you have entered and I can enter them in my test server to see what is in the xml file?

I just made an interesting observation...

The coordinates that I gave you should be showing up as zero miles away from my home of over a year. Yet when I look in the dropdown box, and I kick myself for not noticing this sooner, all of the stations listed as zero miles away are right next to my old home which was about 4 miles away from where I live now. So it looks like something didnt change after I moved. I can confirm that the correct coordinates have been in my HS set up and in your plugin since I moved.

Hope this is helpful. I did update to the latest beta a few hours ago as part of my troubleshooting steps.

You can try this URL to see what WU is returning.
Just replace the text YourAPIKeyHere with your actual API key.

            http://api.wunderground.com/api/Your...5,-122.103.xml

You can try different Lat Lon to see if it makes a difference for your area. Just be careful that you don't go over your daily usage.

I think I stumbled on to something with my last post.

I was able to get my station to show up, but only after I changed my location info in both HS and your plug-in, then put it back to what it is supposed to be. As soon as I did that, the stations in the list showed the correct distance and my station was listed. Sorry meant to respond earlier.
