    What does "PI" mean?

    Dumb question of the day.

long time user... always wondered. I see "PI" used in the names of different plugins, etc. like "Sonos PI". I figured this had something to do with PI cpu systems... but doesn't really make sense.

My curiosity finally has gotten the best of me. :-)

    what does it stand for/mean?

The number π is a mathematical constant. Originally defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, it now has various equivalent definitions and appears in many formulas in all areas of mathematics and physics.

      ... See, easy.
