    DeCONZ routes

I have tried to put an Xiaomi door sensor in my mailbox so I can become aware of when mail arrives, which does not happen every week.

It worked when I tested, but when I close the mailbox door (The one i open to take out the maill), it will not respond anymore.
If I open the door again, it will send status fine when open/close the letter tab.
So its probably has something to do with signal strength.

I see in DeCONZ that it is connected to my ConBee and not a HUE bulb that has half the distance to the mailbox.
I can not figure out how to make any manual route in DeCONZ, so it can be connected to the Hue bulb instead.

I have an Xiaomi Cube that is connected to the Hue bulbs so the Xiaomi devices can use Hue as a route.
Also has an Xiaomi door sensor connected to an Ikea bulb 10 times as far away as a Hue bulb. So do not quite understand the route that DeConz / ZigBee makes.

Can anyone help me make a manual route in DeCONZ?

    Hi Ldplusse,

I can't really help you but I'm interesed as I'e got the same strange connexions here, according to deCONZ.

In fact, I do not look that much to deCONZ anymore as it seems to reflect non-rational links.

But I'm highly interested in manual linking if someone ca explain us how to make this.

I read the manual under the help on the deconz page and it said if you go to DRE (top of deconz page) and uncheck 'routers and end points' that it will help boost the power and may even change the routing.

I tried it on mine and it made the route of my motion sensor go from going through a light to going directly to the conbee. Not sure what that is going to do, I shall see.

I'm waiting for my Xiaomi devices to arrive so I'm intently watching this thread.

I think it's CRE not DRE, smack in the middle of the top part of the screen for me.

Thanks for catching that. CRE instead of DRE.
