    Updated to .76

I wiped out all the weather XML stuff i could find in the HS3 folder.
Updated to .76 from the updater.
    Have 3 problems now.

    1. The "Last Alert device" will not create. In the Alerts setup page I click Yes and it just reverts back to No. I do have an active alert now, it shows up in the Users page. The devices for alerts 2, 3, 4, and 5 show up.

    2. There is no place to set up maps. No Map root device is there.

    3. I have the pushover plugin and it works, but shows inactive in the plugins setup page.

    Thanks,
    Tim

Ok, after a few restarts, I got the maps and plugins sections to show up and work.
Still number one problem I can not figure out.

    Thanks,

I am unable to duplicate this. Try setting the logging level to Debug. Then go to the Alert page and select Yes. Check the log for any errors.

            I almost forgot.
I am not getting the animated radar map from WU either.
I have the box checked and the sizes entered.

            Thanks,

I thought I would work on this again, so I went to the Alerts setup page and changed the number of devices from 5 to 3. I waited a few seconds then changed it from 3 to 5.
I now have 1,2,3,4, and 5 alert devices in the device management screen, before I only had 2,3,4,and 5
I also have a dense fog alert going on right now, but none of the devices show it.
It's weird because the announcement works perfectly.

              Thanks,

Still working on this. Shut down the plugin, deleted the alert devices, and restarted the plugin.
Tried a different browser, same problem, but now I have 4 alert devices instead of 5 and they are numbered 4,4,5,5.
So now I am really messed up.

                Thanks,

                  Sorry, still poking around.
On the HS3 main page, i went to "Tools", "Global Variables" and found the weather xml variables in the list. Should I have 2 of everything? I only have one location set up ie- wxmlalertlocation_1 and wxmlalertlocation_2

                  Thanks,

If you have 2 locations set to use global variables then yes, you will have 2 of each variable type. You can set the Use global variables for no if you don't want to use global variables for that location.

Announcement is separate from the devices. Each announcement is made based on how many times is setup in alert severity. When the announcements have reached that limit it won't be spoken anymore but it would still show in a device based on how many you are using.

Any devices that are missing will not be re-created when the plugin is restarted. The only time it would check and make/delete devices is when the number in the dropdown is changed.

When you delete devices using the device management page, it doesn't clear the settings.
Try setting the number of devices used to 0. Since you have 2 locations make sure that you set it to 0 for both locations.

Check to see if you have any alert devices left. If so, then something is wrong with those devices. Go ahead and delete them. Restart the plugin and check for any alert devices. There should not be any.
Now pick one of your locations and set the alert devices to use as 5.
Check for the devices and see what you have.
What is the device address? Not just the number but the whole name.
Something like Location 1 Alert #1

If you want devices for both locations, then set the number of devices for your second location, then go check the alert devices.

What is the device address of the ones for your second location?

I think I figured out part of the issue. It appears that when you change the number to a lower one it does not delete the one no longer wanted.
And changing the number runs the code to see if new ones need to be created but it is not finding the existing ones.
That I will need to fix.

I still have not been able to duplicate the issue with the use last alert device but will look at it some more when I get a chance to work on fixing the number of alert devices.

That's the weird part, I don't have 2 locations set up, only 1.

I set the number of alert devices to 0.
Checked the device management page and all the devices and the alert root device is gone.
I set the number of alert devices to 5.
Checked the device management page and I have 5 devices 1-5 and the root alert device for location 1, but still will not let me choose Yes for the last alert device.

                              Thanks,
