I don't know if this has been addressed yet, or if it is only me experiencing it. But when I click on links within the board to old message threads the log in page comes up and a I can not get past it.

And I just tried to switch to the Bandwidth Monitor script page (link in first post of Script Library Discussion) and after my IE6 browser locked up and forced my to open a new window, i was asked to login again to get into the script libraray. After doing that, the browser froze again. Bummer... On the third attempt, I copied the link to a new browser window. That didn't work either! Browser just froze.Comment

I am sure the problem is related to the links being stored as "ubb.homeseer.com". They need to fix all the links, or re-enable the DNS for this URL. I have asked them to fix this.

Something similar happened the last time they did a major upgrade. It looks like they must of changed something, or I am picking up different DNS results than others because I had no problem with the Audrey Clock link. No prompt, it was a little slow, but it displayed the page in a new browswer window like it should.

Very strage...
I just went to a different computer running the same OS and browser and had no problem going to the links mentioned above.
However, some punctuation symbols and most all smilie face symbols show up as a square box with a dot in the middle.Comment

What I found is I can get to old threads, but have trouble with links inside the old links ie; do a search for backup, then open the second thread, then the reply by Rupp and try to get to the link. All I get is a login page and can't get past it.Comment

Not the MESSAGE but the LINK. The thread opens fine in a new window as mentioned. Now, scroll to the bottom of the thread to the last message and try to click the LINK for the "Alarm Clock". thats where the dead end is, not getting to the messages themselves.Comment

I find out that if the link was posted as a true link (http://...) the it works. If it was posted as a part of text that is linked to another thread then it doesn't work.
Rich, did they find solution? It is annoying.
