Why not use a Arduino to control the sensors, alarm and notifications? The Arduino can notify HS of an event. Arduino could also send a heartbeat to HS so you would get a notification if the Arduino...

The file is marked as updated but the created timestamp is the same. For it to work with IFTTT the file would have to have a new created date or a new file appended to the directory.

Ok I have fixed the problem.... I edited the Insteon wall relay links in Homeseer and removed the link.... the only thing I didn't try because of the warning in doing so on the page.
