That would completely disable the multi-tap feature of these switches so no... there will always be a very small delay to allow folks to multi-tap the switch.

The dimmer itself doesn't have any built-in animation. What you're seeing in the video are discrete z-Wave parameter commands (in event actions) being sent to each LED. FYI

It's older tech... that's the only caution I would note. It's not Z-Wave Plus and uses the older 300 series Z-Wave chip. The "Speaks Z-Wave" logo on it goes back a lot of years!
