Try turning off all polling of your Z-Wave devices and see if that helps? Also what hardware are you running HS3 on?

I think a check mark to include the ones you want...

I think a check mark to include the ones you want and a master check/unckeck on the drop down could speed up deselecting these. The addition of the separate voice command is also an excellent idea.

You can simply uncheck the voice command on the devices you do not want the Echos to see. This effectively hides them from the hardware. You can also go into the Alexa app and forget them as well.
