No, you can't install any additional plugins on the Zee other than the four or so that HS released. This is a limitation of the platform rather than anything to do with the plugin itself which will run under Linux without any issues. There are some issues with memory I understand which will probably be mitigated when the newer Zee comes out as it has 1GB of RAM so the plugin may at some point in the future work with the Zee S2 but I cannot say that is definite yet because there is scarce information about it.

There was a script at one time written by someone else that should work on the Zee as is but I don't really know where to look for it, you would lose any of the event actions though and need to pass all the information into the script to send the message.

            Pushover loading error

At startup I get the error shown below.

Does this plugin require .NET 4.5 by any chance ?

No it is compiled for .net 4.0 and I have run it on XP before without a problem. I am not sure what is causing that error and it looks to me to be something to do with the interface between HS and the plugin rather than anything inside the plugin so I am not sure what to suggest other than just try running it remotely to see whether you get the same error (I am going to guess yes) and what version of HS are you using?

                Thanks for the input,
                XP-32 HomeSeer version 3.0.0.163 HS3 Pro

I also show this error on the Plugin management page:
WARNING: Failed getting InterfaceStatus from Pushover 3P - the interface was not found in the list of active interfaces, the list may need to be refreshed.

I enabled Developer Mode but the console showed very little debug data:

Could you please explain how I can execute this remotely for diagnostic?
I may have missed something in the installation process.
Thanks for your help with this.

Thinking about really remotely launching the plugin is unlikely to help and I am a bit stuck on ideas really. I don't think that error is anything generated by something I have written to be honest but then I do not really know why but I will check it tomorrow.

Are you run any other plugins and do any of the others behave the same at all? Can you try leaving it disabled, restarting HS and leaving the other plugins to load. Then try and load it to see if it is somehow being caused by another plugin.

Also what sort of hardware is this on, is it anything specialist or very low performance?

I'm getting the same on restart of the system. Disabling and restarting the plugin fixes it, but would like to find a solution also.
                    Regards, Bob

Right Ok if more than one can see it I will use another method of the initio routine which may help and I will get a new version posted as soon as.

Clean startup with no plug-ins enaled

So I tried disabling ALL of my plug-ins and removed all scripts except the Startup script.

The system started without any warnings or errors.

I retried enabling ONLY the Pushover plug-in. It instantly gave the errors shown on the Plug-in manager/config page.

                          Hey
i am working on moving my HS3 to linux on Rasperry Pi 2
i installed the plugin but it seems that all the notification sounds on linux are missing.

is there a way to get them back
                          ?
                          thanks

I have moved everything in the first initialisation routine into it's own background worker thread, I think what happens if this takes a long time (perhaps internet connection slow, or PC just happens to be doing something else) then HS thinks it has hung and stops the process. I have never seen the error so don't really know if it will work or not but I see no difference here so I am hoping it works for you.

Could you try version .13 here please and see how you get on - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5D...ew?usp=sharing

The plugin has to get these from Pushover every time it starts, if you are starting the plugin for the first time then unless you have copied over the PushoverConf.ini file then they will not download because of a missing application token. If you have a application token already specified and they are still not downloading then something is wrong, I don't have a Pi2 but have just tested on an Ubuntu VM and the plugin appears to download them fine, please look at the terminal window and see whether you are getting entries like the attached image.

                              Looks good so far

                              Stopped HS3
Copied new HSPI_pushover version over o the folder
                              Restarted HS3
                              Re-enabled the plug-in

                              No errors so far.

My HS3 test setup is on a very old PC. New PC is in the works. Just waiting to find the right embeddable machine.

Thanks very much with your fast response and all the help.

                                Greetings,
These errors appeared today in the log and I cannot find any place in Setup to configure "postback". Are these settings related to your plug-in?
Looks like a security key so I replaced key with *'s.

The only other thing I can think of is HS3's color keyword filtering of the log file.

Error In setup postback: Public member 'ColorStyle' on type '****************************' not found.
Error In setup postback: Public member 'Filter' on type '****************************' not found.
