    Zone name: Unknown

    Hi,
I am using Caddx NX-8 with hebrew language letters fonts on panel.
with HS-2 JVcaddx plugin I had to disable the Zone Name Caddx request/command allowd at NX-584 because the hebrew fonts dosn't
support by the plugin and it's still disable.
The new plugin for HS-3 works great ,but in the events menu, I can't add new zone event because I receive the message: Zone name: Unknown at select zone menu and I can't choose the specific zone
all zones got the same name : Unknown.
Can I edit the zones table manualy ?

In the HS config directory look for the plugin config file named hspi_Caddx.ini

You must have something like this. Zone1-Name=Your zone name etc.

strange that you don't have these entries. But as I said, you can edit the file manually.

              Zone1-Name=Woonkamer
              Zone1-Type=Instant with Tamper
              Zone2-Name=Deur Meterkast
              Zone2-Type=Instant with Tamper
              Zone3-Name=Zone 3
              Zone3-Type=Instant with Tamper
              Zone4-Name=Zone 4
              Zone4-Type=Instant with Tamper
              Zone5-Name=Zone 5
              Zone5-Type=Instant with Tamper
              Zone6-Name=Zone 6
              Zone6-Type=Instant with Tamper
              Zone7-Name=Zone 7

How is your panel connected ?

I have heard about this before, which was caused by replacing the serial cable or serial to USB converter.

I am using the same USB-RS232 converter that I used with HS2
                    for 3 years.

Can you add a new feature to auto connect the panel when the plugin
is unexpectedly disconnect from panel ??

I did try another Serial to USB convertor , I still have the same error
