    FM Radio

My wife loves a radio station that she listens to while we are on vacation in Florida. She would also like to listen to it at home.

The station is Magic 107.7. I can't figure out how to stream it without going to their website.

Is there a way to listen to it by creating an event in Homeseer?

    Thanks

Did you try using an event to launch the stream via a web browser?
You can launch a url using
    "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.dogpile.com

      Played a bit:

Clearchannel is a big advertisment to get to streaming audio. (CC Tuner).

A couple of references to get around CCR stuff (JUNK).

and here's a link for you that'll work for magic107 and all the rest of the CCR radio stations.

That station is available on Squeezebox Internet Radio as well.

Nice station. I see why she would like it.

Many years ago streamed some audio from HS. It was kind of a manual effort. I used Media Player classic (an updated version of MS Media player from a long time ago).
An example of the method I would use is: (for magic107)

I would create an action for an event with the following:

          Application:
          Code:
          C:\Program Files\Media Player Classic\mplayerc.exe
          Parameters:

          Code:
          http://primary.vtuner.com/vtunerweb/asp/dynamcc.asp?ID=http://www.magic107.com/cc-common/ondemand/player.html?world=st&IID=12036[/url] /play /minimized
I would close it with the application "taskkill"

          Application:
          Code:
          taskkill
          Parameters:
          Code:
          /im mplayerc.exe

Hate to look a gift horse in the mouth... but the sound quality of the link leaves a lot to be desired.

The Wife won't listen because it has a constant tick tick tick on our system. I also tried it on another computer in the house and have the same problem. Is there another link that we could try???

              thanks

It plays perfectly for me using Squeezeplay.

Here is the URL that Squeezeplay saves in a playlist. I pasted it into Safari but it didn't know how to open "Tune.ashx".

If you want to test out Squeezeplay you can download it for free here: http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SqueezePlay

                Hope this helps,
