    Help Required

    Hi there,
    Im new to HomeSeer, ita a great program and I would really like to access the web interface.

    Can anyone advise me what is the best way to do this ?

    My set up is as follows

    ADSL connected to a Windows 2000 machine which acts as my server.

    I am running Norton Personal Firewall 2002 as well.

    I have can access the webpages internally on all my other networked pcs in the house, how ever IM not sure what I need to do on the server to enable to to access it from the WWW.

    Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Punch a hole through your firewall on the port that you have Homeseer on. (Note: Some ISP's BLOCK port 80) Then from the WWW, you can access your Homeseer server with your internet IP address. Something like http://12.243.333.33:81 with the :81 being the port that you are using.
