    RadioRa2 VCRX Doesn't Communicate

    Hello,

I'm relatively new to HS3, and brand new to this forum (so please be patient)
I checked other posts and have found that a smooth communication process between HS3, and RadioRa2 VCRX is possible. It's just not working for me. Hopefully someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I used "RadioRa2 Essentials" to configure the VCRX. I created the device, Programmed each of the 4 outputs to individual inputs, Activated the VCRX, and Transferred it to the Main Repeater.
Then in HS3 under the RadioRa2 Config menu clicked "System Create" button and received "Create 7" feed back.
The HS3 "Device Management" GUI displays 9 devices I can attribute to the VCRX (as follows) Relay 1, Relay 2, "Full/Security", Input 1, Input 2, Relay 3, Relay 4, "security Flash", "Visor Control". The 4 relays have an associated trigger which when activated updates the time stamp, but only output 1 cycles at the VCRX (for 30 sec (not the programmed cycle time)). Additionally if the relays or inputs are manually activated on the VCRX there is no activity reflected in HS3.

I have several (15+) other RR2 devices in system which all function as designed.

    What am I missing?

Can you uncheck the Donald not log on an output and also check the debug log in the config of the plugin, after use the Lutron apps to activate the relay. Than post the log, it should be something like this

Ok- I Unchecked "Do not log commands from this device" for
every device I associate with the VCRX under the "Device Management" tab.
Then in the RR2 Plug-in Config menu I checked "Debug logging", and "Debug
logging Developer Mode Window". I restarted HS3 and first cycled the four
outputs (triggers) in HS3, and second manually activated the four outputs, and inputs on the VCRX.

I really appreciate your help and I hope I gave you what you are looking for (kind of a long response)

The id 49 was not import, be sure to have a name different than the default in the config of Lutron, try to re-import to see if the Id 49 import.

The input should be in the same adresse with device and the output should have a unique adresse for each.

This is the part that "I'm relatively new to HS3" comes into play. I understand the overview of what your telling me, but the finite details of how to achieve it escape me. In an attempt to follow your instructions in config I checked "Reset Name to RA2 default and then clicked on "System Create" Then in a separate step I entered 49 in the "devices to reset" box and clicked "System Create" As you probably know nothing changed in the system function.

I've tried to attach a screen shot of my HS3 desktop related to the Visor so you can see it looks incomplete. (nothing like the pic you provided me)

Go in tool, setup, custom, and check the option Show Device Address/Code Column on Device Management Page, than post me the same screen

Can you delete all the DEVICE-49 and do the Create all devices again to see if you the message "LutronRA2 ERROR SerializedResponseVISOR_CONTROL_RECEIVER: error ID: 49Object reference not set to an instance of an object. " disappears when you active the VCRX.

                  Hi DonMor,
I have in the past deleted and re-created the list of (9) devices I attribute to the VCRX.
Every time they re-create as "49" devices. This time I just deleted anything with a reference
to "49". Everything returned the same as it was pre-delete. After the devices were re-created
I restarted the system and performed the activations on the VCRX. (Photos Attached) Am I
correct in assuming this address is assigned by HS3? I question if there is a issue with the
VCRX, and programming it with Lutron Essentials.

For the output Pulse CCO when we use the integration with the telnet it always have a 1sec pulse, even if in the essential software is program to 3 sec.

to be able to have a different pulse time you need to go to the HS config of the device in the Lutron tab and add a Delay Time Max 4hr (HH:MM:SS)

Be aware that Lutron never send back when the pulse output is activate. I DON'T HAVE ANY CONTROL OF THAT.

you need to re-update the ver. 99 to take effective.
