    OMNI Plugin v3.0.2.9

    v3.0.2.9 was released to the updater today.
    I'm using the new developer portal to see if I can get releases to the updater a little quicker.

    Changes in this version:
    Rolled back Dim and On to use Dim instead of Brighten/Level
    (This is the only change in this version)

    Always make a backup of your system before loading a new version.

    Post any issues you have with this version in this thread.

    Thanks

    If you continue to experience On/Off/Dim issues, please let me know what types of lighting technologies you are using.

    Also, check your HS device to make sure it is setup correctly:
    In HS, Click on the device
    Click on the Status Graphics tab
    You should have the following:

    255 = On
    0 = Off
    1-100 = Dim

        Thanks, Rob. Successfully upgraded to the new version.

        My dimmable units don't have a graphic for 255 though. Just 0, 1-99 and 100. ALC lighting.

        I'm in the office so I'm unable to eyeball the lights themselves. Will do so this evening.

          No go. The only command that works is "Alexa set [name] Off" Other commands such as "set [name' to n%] do nothing except move the HS sliders. Manually moving the sliders does nothing to the lighting levels either now!

          Tried with the devices original graphic values as was set and again with those above.

          I'm using UPB protocol. Anything you need before I roll back?

            Yes - send me your logs where you controlled the device and let me take a look...

              Both the OMNI Config and OMNI Logs return blank pages.

                getting the error "robmasonjr67@yahoo.com ' is not a valid email address

                Never mind I had a space between the semi-colon where I was trying to CC myself. Minor bug.

                  I concur that dimming is not working for my ALC lighting.

                  I can dim via HAIKU and the PI will reflect the correct level. The plug in will not turn on or dim any units. EDIT: It is able to turn them off.

                  Also, my OMNI.log file is empty. As I said above, going to Plug In -> OMNI -> OMNI Config (or OMNI Logs) returns a blank page.

                    Make sure your logging is set to DEBUG, then try to control some devices.
                    You should have entries in your log file.
                    No need to restart the plugin to take effect.

                        Updated 3.0.2.9 and I still can not turn on any light

                        Rob, I updated to version 3.0.2.9 and I still can not turn on any light. I can only turn them off?

                          Hi, Rob. I updated and confirm that this version did not fix the problem where Omni will no longer turn ON any device that is a fan or flourescent light. I sent logs that contain each device being attempted. I was also controlling the device from SnapLink to test turning off so you may see those status udpates in there as well. All of my devices are UPB devices. I can confirm also that those devices (fans, flour lites) do not respond to anything other than ON or OFF. Please advise.

                            upb lights

                            no go for me either, on/off only, no dim. fresh install (just purchased today).

                              I've had to roll back to 3.0.2.4 to get any stability. Pete was kind enough to post that version of the Omni executable elsewhere on the forum.
