    Fonts on Android tablet

Well I'm about to give up on Lcars for HSTouch on my Android tablets.
It just looks silly with the built in Droid font.
I have the Lcars font on my tablet, I have tried 3 different font installer apps, and they all say the same thing. It has to be rooted.
Not really sure I want to do that on a brand new tablet.
I have heard alot of horror stories about rooting your device.
    Any other suggestions?
It is a 10" RCA 11 Maven Pro with Android Ver 5.0

    Thanks,
    Tim

Ok, is there a trustworthy site where I can learn how to root it?

    Thanks,

Check the xda developer forums. When I was doing this, they seemed to be the best about info. Rooting these days isn't as bad as it used to be and it's really hard to brick a unit and not be able to recover.

Read over there and see if they can help.

Someone posted this on one of my posts asking about installing a font. I tried a couple of apps that said they could install fonts with no success, but I can't remember if I tried "Any font app".

You can actually use any true type font out there on both android or iOS. For iOS you just need to download the Any Font app and load all of fonts you want to use on your device. Make sure to load that same font on the computer you are deploying the project from as well. Hope this helps.
