          Can I ask a question....

Can you have multiple IFTTT accounts linked to One HS installation...so...here's my thinking...

Each family member has IFTTT account which is triggering locations flags in HS...but that requires each family member to have an IFTTT account (which is fine) which tracks and triggers (thru IFTTT) location triggers (which is fine) to a single HS.(maybe)

          Is this possible?

          Thanks

            Loopback Test?

Is there a strategy to do some sort of loopback test? I'm just getting into IFTTT. Something from HS3 that hits a phone and reports back to HS3 or HS3 hits the HS3/IFTTT server and loops back?

I created an ITTT heartbeat mechanism. It *should* notify me if the ITTT/HomeSeer mechanism fails. In summary, I have an ITTT Recipe that runs a "ITTT_Watchdog" event every hour that essentially sets a HomeSeer counter to 0. I have an ITTT_HomeSeer event that increments the counter by 1 every 7 minutes. I also have an alert event that sends me an e-mail if the counter ever reaches 10 or a multiple of 10. See screenshots.

                    IFTTT Not Working

Anyone else having issues with IFTTT as of today? When I try to create a trigger for DEVICE ON, the drop down box only says "Options Unavailable, try reconnecting your HomeSeer channel".

If I create a trigger using the DEVICE OFF, it sees all my devices and is current.

I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting multiple times and it shows it is successful but same issue occurs each time.

                    Any help would be appreciated.

I checked mine and it is working fine. Are you still having an issue?

I updated my event to also log when the IFTTT event actually ran. Below are the results over the past 24 hours. Although no events were missed, the time where it actually runs varies quite a bit. The number of seconds is the delta between when I expect it to trigger and when it actually triggers. Bottom line is that you can't count on IFTTT to trigger an event at an exact time. I also log an event that is triggered by HomeSeer and it always triggers at exactly the right time:

This seems weird to me. Usually IFTTT can react within a second or two.

I might have to do a test for this, though.

This is what their FAQ states:

                            How often do Recipes run?
It depends on the Recipe. Some happen within seconds. On average, most Recipes run within 15 minutes of being triggered.

did your script catch the myhs outage this morning? It was down for just over an hour.

I was wanting to implement your script to monitor if it was able to pick up the outage.

                              Thanks
