      Hi Steve,

Probably best to post the error messages from the log that happened during the install in a new thread here: http://board.homeseer.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1488. That way sooty/Paul will see the post.

      Cheers

Just found this looking for something else...
I've started doing this using homebridge and my iPhone

My "Home/Not Home" device is available to homebridge as a switch, and I've set automation events on the phone that turn it on/off based on geo-fence. I am using apple's new home app in the iOS 10 public beta, not sure if the geo-fence options are available in iOS 9.
This does require an appleTV in the house to work, so that you can access your devices from outside your home network.

I used to do it with IFTTT, and had it turn the same device on/off
I was having problems with this. I live in NYC, about 1/2 block from the subway. And my phone wasn't handling the re-establishing cell signal and entering the fence at the same time very well.
If I was above ground as I approached home, it worked very well.

FYI, BLLAN doesn't work if iPhone goes to sleep, but if iPhone uses a location service like FollowMee then BLLAN works. See:
