    martStick+ Controller Node Allocation

I am new to this forum and HomeSeer.

I am migrating from a Leviton VRCOP controller and Leviton VRUSB installer tool.

I have HS3 and a SmartStick+. I included my SmartStick+ as node 1. When I include the Leviton VRCOP Homeseer allocates the next node to number 7. At first I thought I made a mistake but after three attempts for some reason I can't install the Leviton VRCOP as node # 2. I am trying to keep my node ID's the same as before. Any Idea's. Thank You.

I believe the controller assigns the id#, not HomeSeer. If you add a non-controller as a device, does it become #2 or #8? If 8 then the SmartStick may have some left over configuration on it. In that case, I would use HS to erase and restart the interface and try again.

    Cheers
    Al

Thanks Al, your suggestion solved my issue. I reset the SmartStick.
