    PH Errors in Log

I am seeing the following Log error after every poll of my icloud accounts.

    Apr-26 08:36:51 PHLocation Warning (TEMP) Error data: Ref:1854 Lat:xx Lon:xx Acc:65 HasLoc:True Ptime:26/04/2018 08:36:34
Apr-26 08:36:51 PHLocation Error (UpdateUserDevice) Error with device update procedure! System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at p.a(h A_0, Int32 A_1)

The system seems to be ok otherwise?

This error has been reported a couple of times in the past but I have never been able to reproduce it here so I'm not sure what causes it.

    Can you try:
Open device ref 1854 which should be the root device of the iDevice user and on the PHL tab hit the rebuild child devices button.

Once the child devices have been rebuilt, restart the plug-in and see if that cures it.

Hi Paul, I did that but it did not seem to make any difference. When i look at the log it suggests that creation of child devices may have been skipped.

OK Steve, can you try this:

Set debug level to 2 on the plug-in general config page.
Hit the force update button for the problem account.

There should be a whole load of log entries from the plug-in as is polls and processes the iCloud data. Can you email me those log entries and I'll see if I can spot anything.

Don't post the log entries here because they will contain info about your iCloud account.

        Paul..

I am seeing this exact message, what was the solution?

I've been dealing with this logging mess for quite some time. Can ANYONE please advise how to disable elevation lookup? I am using OpenStreetMap (both this and Google Maps API cause the same errors).

PHLocation PI is too valuable to me to go without. However I'm also experiencing the log lock-ups reported on another thread - seems the massive logging from PHLocation may be locking up the log.

I requested to beta test PHLocation V2, but never got a reply back. I'm desperate to get rid of these errors!
