ZWAVE CRASH when trying to set or delete lock user coedes

    I am running HS3 ZEE S2 Edition 3.0.0.318 and ZWave 3.0.1.110

When I try to delete or set the user codes for the Schlage lock Zwave crashes.

It happens when I enter the user code before I even execute the event.

I havent added in the debug to the log yet but can if that might help? Here is the current log.

    Code:
    Apr-21 07:49:47 Z-Wave	InitIO called, plug-in version 3.0.1.110 is being initialized...
    Apr-21 07:49:47 Info	Plugin Z-Wave has connected. IP:127.0.0.1:32803
Apr-21 07:49:45 Warning	I/O interface Z-Wave is down, executable is not running, restarting ...
Apr-21 07:49:35 Info	Plugin Z-Wave with instance: has disconnected

Same here. Except I'm able to remove a code; just not add without a crash. Same with both Schlage and Kwikset (I have both).

I loved that new idea y'all posted and was excited to use events to add/remove people from all the locks... 'cept it doesn't work.

Same here. Try and add a user code and zwave plugin crashes and restarts.

      Hs .318 and zwave .110

I'm getting the same error running HS3 .297 on Linux, with ZWave .110

It happens when I try create a new event to set a user code. Any already existing events to set user codes work fine though. Only when creating new ones.

After hitting submit on the new code to set, an error displays showing "Error, Exception calling Action Post UI in plug-in: Z-Wave: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

It's definitely a bug in ZWave .110. I rolled back to .87 and it's working fine again.

Ah. I was on .9x and upgraded to .110 hoping for a fix. Still bad, of course.

Any idea how I might roll back to that old version of the Z-Wave plugin?

Well... how 'bout that... Windows File History... restored .87 and restarted HS. Works. Cool.

+1. I was setting up a friend's new system and boom, this out of the gate. Not a real strong showing.

Can you roll back create the event then go back to .110 and edit the event?

Has anyone reported this issue to HS?

Ah, I guess that is why my SmartStick+ kept on getting that yellow exclamation mark. I am on HS3Pro 3.0.0.318 and Z-Wave 3.0.1.87.

I sent them a message with a link to this thread.

This is fixed in the Z-Wave plugin 3.0.1.112 which is in the Beta section of the plugins page.
