Oregon UVN800 usable in place of weather.com xml

I have been having problems lately with getting uv readings from weather.com xml. I see where the Oregon Scientific UVN800 can be used by ACRF2.

Will I be able to get UV index numbers from the UVN800 and use it as I have with weather.com xml?

I guess that was a stupid question. Sorry for wasting everyone's time. I will just order one and see what I can do.

You need a rfxcom receiver to get the uv data... search rfxcom on this board and you should be able to get the info. you need.. you may also hind the answer searching for UNV800.. I have the UNV138 or UNV128 same thing just has a display.. and when I purchased them,, O.S. may have 1 of the 3 on close out.. Hope this helps ... The rfxcom stuff looks pricey but when you see the list of items it can receive it becomes well worth the cash..
