When I first got the Hometroller-SEL everything worked fine. Now it will not recognize my Z-Stick. If I plug the Z-stick back into my old PC running HS2 it does fine. I don't think it is the Z-stick. I uninstalled the Z-wave plug-in on the HT-SEL and reinstalled but no change. Any ideas?

Try shutting down Homeseer and SSH to your SEL.
Once logged in do an lsusb at the command prompt.
You should see something similiar to the following. Note I am only including the Z-Wave stick here.
root@XUbuntu4:~# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 10c4:ea60 Cygnal Integrated Products, Inc. CP210x UART Bridge / myAVR mySmartUSB light
root@XUbuntu4:/dev# ls ttyUSB*
ttyUSB0
If you do not see this unplug the USB Z-Wave stick and plug it back into the USB port and type reboot to reboot your SEL box.
Here testing with HS Pro V.125 and Z-Wave driver V.178.
Enabled plugin.
Added Aeon stick to /dev/ttyUSB0.
Looks OK.
I did notice some verbiage in the logs about updating Z-Wave database. On next boot up I did not see this message.Last edited by Pete; November 1, 2014, 11:17 PM.- Pete

two Z-wave sticks and RFxCom receiver
Hello,
I have two Aeon labs Z-wave sticks (one for EU and one for US freq.) plugged into two of the three usb ports on my HomeTroller SEL. They work very well on dev/tty/USB0 and dev/tty/USB1, until i plug in the RFXcom receiver into the third USB port and activate it on dev/tty/USB2. Then my Z-wave EU crashes and the computer is no longer able to recognize and initialize it. If i restart with the RFXcom plugged in i get the same error. Once i de-activate RFXcom the z-wave stick returns to normal functionality.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks
Anthony
