import graphics for status

Hi, is there a way to import graphics to show status?, ie. I have curtain controls via an on / off switch, and instead of showing the on / off graphic, would like it to show a open / closed curtain. I have looked through the image database onboard and cannot finr curtains.
Please keep answer simple as new to this.
