Locally wire loom is $2/ft... on there I bought a 100' box for $17.50!!! then I bought the loom T adapters, clip adapters so you can attach to fenders or stuff and also bought the break out adapters.. never used them though..

      Tele,

I was going to have my truck out this year (I know, I say that every year), but I really was this year. I had the $$ and everything!

Then my brother decided to get married in HI and there went all that money.

      :-(

Tasker, to a person who does Homeautomation...is like walking up to a Crack Treatment facility with a truck full of 3lb bags of crack. Then for each person that walks in and out smack them in the face with an open bag.

how much? and I think VA to S.NJ is a bit far if I'm stuck.. unless your REALLY HURTING to get out!!! LOL

side note.. I'm still working on the truck after that stuck!!!!

my calipers locked (drivers side mainly) as seals were bad and truck was towed home and sat for a week. replaced both... but still a bit not right.. not sure why... wheel goes left then right but also I gotta fix the play in my steering. Watch a dukes of hazard episode and that is what its like driving this beast...

but I was working on the carb and back float was way wrong pouring fuel into the secondaries while at idle!!!! so took holley back bowl off and WOW found a HUGE vacuum leak. It was an adapter on the intake that I plugged, the rubber plug ripped off so a 1/4" hole so used the metal screw in plugs... fixed and now the truck idles right, can adjust timing easier, air fuel screws not out 2 turns but only 1/2 turn!!!!!!!!

Yeah that might be a bit of a long run. I bought it in NC and drove it 150 miles or so up I95 at a blazing 50MPH. Wasn't really afraid of anyone hitting me though... lol

South Jersey! I lived on a cow farm in Woodstown back in the late 70's early 80's. Good times.

five or six grand I imagine. What I paid for it basically. It's a hoot but takes up too much room in the shop.
