    Applying Ubuntu Updates on SEL

When I ssh in to my HomeTroller it tells me that there are X number of updates available. Is it ok to apply them? Ubuntu tends to be a little more particular sometimes with it's system updates not playing nicely with programs running in "production".

On a Windows box, I'd have no problem installing the updates because they tend not to break things and it's very easy to uninstall an update if it does break something. With Unix, that's not always true.

    Thanks!

I have not experienced any issues with my system by applying the OS updates. However, it appears some of the updates may replace the "HomeSeer" boot entry with "Ubuntu". It would be nice to get an official answer from HomeSeer though.
