    Status for Z-Wave Leviton switch ( DZS15) ?

Is there a way to have status reported to HS3 when a Z Wave switch is manually powered ON or Off ? If not, are there other ZWave switches that can do this?

    Thanks for any guidance....

Hi J, the Leviton Vizia RF+ line (http://www.leviton.com/OA_HTML/Secti...minisite=10251) supports instant status, but not their DZC line (http://www.leviton.com/OA_HTML/Secti...minisite=10251). Cooper also makes switches that support instant status.

      Cheers

Just make sure you're not polling too much. Excessive polling can kill a zwave network. Instant Status works better if you can implement it.

Also, if your switch is directly connected to your Z-Wave interface (no hops) something very akin to instant status happens. At least for the GE switches it does.
