UPB Direct Packets

Does anyone know if there is a way for Homeseer to be setup to send direct packets to devices. Specificly I would like to send a direct packet of (goto on, and goto off)
In UPStart you can change a device to send direct packets and one of the choices is "goto on" I have been able to make a us240 do this and would like HS to do it so I can add timers into the mix.

I believe that HS does send direct packets if you reference the device. It sends link packet if you activate/deactivate a link.
