Monitoring Over VPN Tunnels

When I ran UltraMon in HS2, I could monitor devices over VPN tunnels. I can't seem to do this on UltraMon3. Was there a change?

It's a rather old question. But I've been running into this too. It's the only reason why I keep HS2 running too.
I remember reading that monitoring subnets without a direct connection was difficult to figure out. But since it works in HS2 on the same machine (Win Server 2016), what changed in terms of networking?

Is it something that could be on the roadmap for this plugin?
