great please give this build a try and report back.

a few notes:
1. Insteon Error Report.Log files are no longer erased with every restart, they are either appended or archived with current date and time if the file gets larger then 5 MB.

2. fixed the ? unknown status issue, i think.

3. i did a bunch of code cleanup; another user and i have been running it for several days and everything is still working as expected.

thanks for the feedback. i need to see a detailed log snippet when the device gets the ? status value. capture the issue via manual polling or leave detailed logging on and get the snippet based on the last updated of the device

if it the ? status is with the same devices most of the time, they must be responding in a way that i'm not capturing.

The device that is reporting ? Is an iR device correct. I don't full support for them specifically polling

Can you turn detailed logging and poll that device and post just the hs log of just that device
